Chuapp Talk discusses Dressmaker, a recently popular indie game in which the player runs a clothing shop as a tailor newly moved to a small town, making dresses to customer orders through measuring, designing, choosing fabric, cutting, sewing and decorating. The game recreates real details such as fabric grain direction and sewing machine handling, and the official description lists 150 clothing parts, over 450 fabrics and over 350 accessories. Its shortcomings include only dresses being available, unclear tutorials, and finished clothes never being worn by customers.
