Insider Gaming: Rob Pardo's Bonfire Studios' Reliance on AI Sparks Internal Frustration

Bonfire Studios, co-founded by former Blizzard chief creative officer Rob Pardo, is facing internal frustration over its heavy reliance on AI tools instead of trusting hired staff, according to Insider Gaming. The studio has spent eight years on its team-based isometric PvPvE game Arkheron, with internal delays and AI-driven changes going beyond typical development issues. Some at the studio believe the game will be released sooner than it should be despite the lengthy development cycle.
