Battlefield 6 Season 2 starts next week, and Battlefield Studios outlined its major goals for the patch, including faster battle pass progression and letting Redsec players who don't own the game make progress. Battle pass Tokens will be earned at a changed rate from career XP and through weekly challenges, while Redsec players get faster career and weapon XP in both battle royale and Gauntlet. The season adds the Contaminated map and a new LTM, with a second high-intensity map and a dark underground base LTM later, plus changes to recoil, movement and footstep audio.
