Nighthawks review – a series of vignettes that sometimes excel but more often falter

Nighthawks is a 2026 vampire RPG in which you play a newly-made vampire who takes over the titular nightclub and explores three neighbourhoods across five acts of vignette-driven story. Two standout quests about women escaping restrictive obligations show what the game can do, but its anti-vampire sentiment thread is unconvincing and the first act is particularly dry. The lack of time pressure and meaningful roleplaying choices further undercuts the experience.
