I have broken GTA 5 by installing so many mods that the game only launches in windowed mode now

After installing the Dynamic Traffic Colours mod, my GTA 5 installation now only launches in windowed mode, and trying to go fullscreen before it loads leaves you stuck on a black screen. The mod is meant to mix up the hues of Los Santos' cars, but most vehicles still show the same humdrum colours, with only the occasional garish one.
