Touch Music Ramblings: Returning to Open Worlds

Over the holiday the author finally spent time with Ghost of Yotei, and despite a clichéd revenge opening, riding across the Yotei grasslands with the guiding wind brought back the joy of open-world games. The standoff combat remains, the female protagonist's secondary weapons are more varied than in the previous game, and a large wolf fights alongside her. The author also downloaded The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster and is looking forward to the new DLC "Songs of the Past."
