Nintendo executive confirms company has "no plans to ditch physical games"

Nintendo of Latin America VP and general manager Bill van Zyll said in an interview with YouTuber Coelho no Japão that the company has no plans to ditch physical games and will keep investing in physical media for the foreseeable future. He said Nintendo has historically been "agnostic" and goes off what the consumer prefers, noting the Switch 2 is barely over a year into its life and supports both digital and physical. The comments come after Sony's controversial decision to announce PlayStation will be discless by 2028.
