Bungie says it is not done with Destiny, pledging to bring back vaulted Destiny 2 content while saying Marathon needs to evolve

Bungie's new leadership said in a blog post that Destiny is foundational to the studio's future and that previously vaulted Destiny 2 campaigns, destinations and raids will be added back into the game, while acknowledging it cannot change the decision it made. They also said Marathon did not reach as many players as hoped and needs to evolve, so seasonal updates are being dropped in favour of a resurgence starting with a December PvE update. The studio said it has simplified priorities, reduced competing initiatives and moved decisions closer to development teams.
