IGN Preview: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3's Soul Switch mechanic and co-op demo

IGN played Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3's co-op multiplayer mode at Bandai Namco's Tokyo office, and the demo did not cover the arena fighter mode. Filling a meter in combat triggers Soul Switch, briefly turning the player into characters such as Tien and borrowing their movesets, with RPG elements like skill tree branches and voice lines attached. The game is set in Age 1000, and producer Masayuki Hirano said different versions of the same character will have their own battle styles and movesets.
