WarioWare director Goro Abe on what changed after leaving Nintendo

Former WarioWare series director Goro Abe left Nintendo earlier this year after more than 25 years and is now a game design professor at Osaka's Electro-Communication University, where he runs the Experimental Game Design Laboratory. He said leaving Nintendo gave him new perspectives on other companies and the indie scene, and he wants to make games free of commercial constraints that appeal to people who don't normally play games.
