Bungie outlines Marathon's future with PvE, a social hub, and a shift beyond extraction

Bungie said in a new blog post that Marathon will be "growing beyond extraction," keeping its PvEvP experience while adding more ways to play. The upcoming Symbiosis update will bring the long-promised PvE mode and an experimental Team Deathmatch PvP mode, alongside a new shell named Bishop. Perimeter will get a fungus-driven visual overhaul with new routes, and a new zone plus a CyAc-sponsored social hub with a firing range are slated for March.
