The Zelda: Ocarina of Time Easter Eggs That Did and Did Not Make It Into the 2026 Remake

The 2026 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time keeps some classic Easter eggs while removing others. The Nintendo character portraits near Zelda and the 3DS-exclusive Skyward Sword art are gone, but the Bowser clasps on Malon and Talon, the guard you can annoy, and the rocket-like Gossip Stones remain. Floating debris in Kokiri Forest and the Lost Woods faintly resembles the Koroks seen in later Zelda games.
