Rockstar Says You Won't Have To Wait Another 8 Years After GTA 6 For Its Next Game

Rockstar head of development Phil Hooker told Bloomberg that the engine, tools, and team built during GTA 6's development will let the studio make future games more quickly. GTA 5 launched in 2013 and Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018, while GTA 6 is scheduled for November 19, 2026 after a series of delays. Rockstar has grown from 2,441 employees around RDR2's release to 4,711 staff across 12 offices, but it has not announced its next major game yet.
