The Video Games And More You Should Play This Weekend – October 23, 2026

Game Informer's weekend picks highlight horror games for the Halloween season, including Resident Evil Requiem, Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse, and Silent Hill: Townfall, plus the indie throwback Tenebris Somnia. Tenebris Somnia blends retro-inspired adventure with live-action horror cinematics as players uncover a nightmare apartment building's mystery and rescue a trapped ex. Its survival horror gameplay is executed well, with clever puzzle-solving and effective scares standing out.
