Krafton ends development of PUBG: Black Budget less than a year after reveal

Krafton announced on PUBG: Black Budget's Steam page that it is ending development of the extraction shooter spin-off, saying an internal review concluded its current direction would not deliver an experience players could enjoy over the long term. First revealed in November 2025, the PvEvP first-person shooter held its most recent and largest closed test in June. It is the second PUBG spin-off to be publicly cancelled, after PUBG: Blindspot was cancelled in March following two months in early access.
