Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Review: A Sendoff for the Rebooted Series

Game Informer's review says Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 makes up for its predecessor with a fun campaign, thrilling multiplayer, and the new DMZ extraction mode. The campaign picks up after 2023's Modern Warfare 3 as Price pursues Makarov, though some character arcs and story beats feel rushed. Multiplayer adds modes such as the 24v24 Combat Outpost, and DMZ is called the definitive Call of Duty extraction shooter, while the campaign shows low framerate and frequent texture loading.
