Ubisoft plans to shut down Trials studio RedLynx and cut 70 jobs at Ubisoft Singapore

VGC understands Ubisoft plans to shut down its Finland-based RedLynx studio and downsize Ubisoft Singapore, resulting in 70 layoffs. RedLynx is known for the Trials series and was acquired by Ubisoft in 2011; the closure proposal would affect around 52 staff and enter mandatory change negotiations in Finland. Ubisoft Singapore was founded in 2008 and has supported most Assassin's Creed games and led work on Skull and Bones.
