Queen's Domain Is a Brilliant King's Field-Alike RPG That Forces You to Walk So You Can Learn to Fly

Queen's Domain, a King's Field-alike first-person RPG from developer Freshly Baked, launches on Steam this week with deliberately ponderous combat and a windblade that grants an aerial dash. Socketable gems extend the dash to reach offshore islands and collapsed parapets, while roughly 50 weapons each level up through use and offer distinct abilities. The developers say the full game runs over 30 hours, and a demo remains on Steam.
