8 Classic PlayStation Adventure Games That Are Barely Playable Today

Polygon rounds up eight classic PlayStation adventure games that are barely playable today, with tank controls among the main culprits. In that scheme, up moves the character forward in whatever direction they face while left and right only rotate them, so the stick alone can't sidestep or turn on a dime. The piece says the same scheme caused trouble across just about every genre in the PS1 era, and these eight are the hardest to go back to.
