Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Impressions: Switch 2 Extraction Shooter Gameplay and Performance

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's new DMZ extraction mode runs steadily on Switch 2, targeting around 40fps in the preview build. Players drop solo or in squads of up to three onto a large map to loot, complete optional objectives, and call a helicopter to extract, with fallen Operators recoverable for in-game currency at a rising cost. The map is the fictional Hajin zone on the North-South Korea border, featuring a casino, nuclear reactor, and shopping mall, plus a radiation countdown limiting runs to about half an hour. The game launches for Switch 2 on 23rd October, and pre-order players can already play the campaign and DMZ.
