Tim Schafer on Double Fine's Xbox split: "I assume someone is being greedy somewhere"

Double Fine founder Tim Schafer told the BBC that the studio split with Xbox because Microsoft is moving toward "fewer, larger IPs," while Double Fine wanted to keep making many small ones. He said he remains pro Game Pass and has no regrets about the Xbox partnership, but called the industry's four-year downturn baffling and said "I assume someone is being greedy somewhere."
