Game decompilation hub decomp.dev closes over AI, saying the community aspect has been broken

Game decompilation community site decomp.dev, founded in 2024, announced it is closing. Its farewell message said AI can significantly speed up decompilation with proper guidance, but that the community aspect of decompilation has been broken. It said recent models such as Opus and GPT are notably good at some of this work, letting anyone with tokens produce their own decompiles and diluting the collaborative spirit.
