Pokémon UNITE to shut down in March 2027 as Aeos Crown registration opens
The Pokémon Company confirmed Pokémon UNITE will end service on 23 March 2027 at 00:00 UTC on both Nintendo Switch and mobile, with Aeos gem sales halted at 05:00 UTC today. The Aeos Crown 2027 finals in Tokyo run 20 to 21 March 2027, with online qualifiers opening for registration from 5 December and up to 32 teams reaching the offline finals. A farewell update on 12 November adds Unite coins tradeable for Unite licences and Holowear, plus a library mode that keeps certain records and cosmetics viewable after the shutdown.
The official end-of-service notice and tournament schedule land together, letting readers see the shutdown date, what players keep, and the Tokyo event format.
