Rumor: Sony appears to be winding down PSVR2 sales as the headset disappears from US PlayStation Direct

Push Square found the PSVR2 headset no longer listed on the US PlayStation Direct site, with only the charging station, PC adapter and a third-party case remaining under the PSVR2 tab. Road to VR reports regional PlayStation Direct pages began removing the device in mid-October, with purchase links returning 404 errors. Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart still list third-party stock, with Best Buy pricing around $750, well above the recommended retail price, while the UK PlayStation Direct store still sells the headset.
