Indie Game Of The Year Winner Pulled From Xbox Over BDS Boycott
Brief
Maddy Thorson of MaddyMakesGames confirmed on Bluesky that Celeste and TowerFall were pulled from the Xbox store in support of the BDS movement. It is the second high-profile indie developer this month to take a stand on Xbox, after House House said Big Walk would not come to the platform. The moves follow a broader boycott push by developer collective No Games For Genocide over Microsoft's technical contributions.
