Medium Rare, a Resident Evil-inspired dungeon crawler RPG about rescuing your wife from a human meat factory, uses real stock photos run through Photoshop and dithered into crunchy, pixel-art-adjacent assets. Combat places enemies on a three by three grid where distance affects damage, with dice rolls and weapon choice determining survival, plus tile-based inventory management and infected enemies hunting you down. A demo is available on Steam, with release set for 2027.
