Warhorse Studios at 15: Its Co-Founder Has Never Taken the Ordinary Path

Martin Klíma, co-founder of Czech studio Warhorse, marked the studio's 15th anniversary by recounting a career that began with secretly translating Dungeons & Dragons before he and Daniel Vávra founded Warhorse in July 2011. The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance drew over 35,000 backers on Kickstarter, and the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 led to Warhorse securing the rights to develop a Lord of the Rings game. The studio is also working on a new entry in the Kingdom Come series.
