Stephen Bliss, a senior artist at Rockstar Games from 2001 to 2016, spoke to IGN at Lucca Comics and Games about shaping Grand Theft Auto's pop art and comic book visual style. He noted the GTA 6 cover still uses the box grid and top-left helicopter he developed, while stressing he did not work on the GTA 5 cover.
