Watching YouTube in stereoscopic 3D on Steam Frame with the free framedepth plugin
I'm watching YouTube videos in glorious stereoscopic 3D on my Steam Frame with just a free plugin and a long-forgotten dream of a new Nintendo 3DS
Brief
GitHub user guix8 has made framedepth, a Chrome plugin that adds a stereoscopic 3D effect to any video watched through the browser on Steam Frame. Installing it requires putting the Steam Frame in developer mode, installing Chrome via Flathub on the SteamOS desktop, and loading the plugin as a Chrome extension. Once enabled, the 3D effect can be adjusted from a dropdown menu in Chrome.
