Ubisoft's next gen-AI game development push is internally called Motherbrain

Ubisoft is internally calling its latest generative-AI initiative Motherbrain, according to trademark filings covering AI software for creating video games and interactive content, plus an AI service for analyzing data and interacting with humans. The name has not been mentioned publicly by Ubisoft. The publisher previously unveiled the gen-AI tool Ghostwriter, and its CEO Yves Guillemot said generative AI had rolled out across the entire company.
