Final Fantasy 7 Revelation's Hard Mode Is Available From the Start, No Replay Required

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will let players select Hard Mode from the very beginning, unlike FF7 Remake and Rebirth, which required completing the game first. Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the team reimagined the high-difficulty experience because Gaia opens up early and players can fly to tough battles right away. The game launches on PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S on 8th April, 2027, with a Dynamic Mode also available at launch.
