15 Years Later, Batman: Arkham City Remains Batman's Last Gaming Masterpiece
Brief
Batman: Arkham Asylum launched in 2009 when superhero games were mostly uninspired movie tie-ins, and stood out as an original story from Batman: The Animated Series writer Paul Dini. Its 2011 follow-up, Batman: Arkham City, built on that foundation and 15 years later is still seen as Batman's last gaming masterpiece.
