Japan's Gundam Is Gone, But Capcom Is Getting Two Life-Sized Monster Hunter Statues

Capcom has announced it will build life-sized statues of Rathalos and Lagiacrus in Fukuoka, standing face to face at the center of a new park in Marinoa Resort as part of an area revitalization project. The company hopes the site becomes a pilgrimage and gathering spot for hardcore fans of the series. Capcom previously ran the limited-time AR attraction Monster Hunter Bridge at World Expo 2025 and plans to make it a permanent attraction at Nijigen No Mori theme park in Hyogo Prefecture.
