Attack on Titan 3 Preview: An Original Character Retells the Story as ODM Mobility and Titan Fights Evolve

IGN's hands-on preview of Attack on Titan 3 says the game is not a straight retelling of the anime but casts players as an original character who relives the overall storyline starting with training the 104th cadets. Producer Hideo Suzuki said seven years after Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle the team chose to cover the story from beginning to end. The demo adds ODM options such as anchoring to buildings and trees and precise altitude control, with Titan AI and battle patterns improved to match, while character bonds affect Buddy Arts in exterior missions.
