Control Resonant Made the Right Choice Leaving the Oldest House Behind

Control Resonant takes its story outside the Oldest House of Control (2019), a choice that fits Dylan Faden, who was imprisoned and experimented on inside the building for 17 years. After waking in 2026, Dylan leaves the Oldest House for the first time in 24 years. The piece also notes that tapes in Resonant show Dr. Darling abusing Dylan, contrasting with the likable scientist Jesse encounters in the first game.
