Supermassive Games layoffs begin, over 70 staff reportedly let go

Layoffs have begun at Supermassive Games, with former IT and Facilities Director Frank Tindle saying on LinkedIn that more than 70 developers, artists, producers, QA and operations staff are leaving, as reported by Insider Gaming. Supermassive had warned a couple of months earlier that the cuts were needed to ensure the company's sustainability. The report also notes that Hellblade studio Ninja Theory has reportedly begun cutting staff the same day.
