Phantom Blade Zero Adds Mid-Boss Checkpoints to Ease the Soulslike Struggle

Phantom Blade Zero places checkpoints between the phases of multi-phase boss fights, so dying in a later phase lets you retry from that phase instead of restarting the whole battle. The action-RPG also lets players adjust difficulty at any time, even mid-boss fight, to make progress faster and less time-consuming.
