A Kotaku writer played the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign early via a code from Activision and calls it the best CoD campaign in years. The story follows Price on the run after killing a U.S. general who betrayed him, while North Korea invades South Korea with help from a more powerful country, seen partly through a South Korean marine squad. The roughly eight-hour campaign moves through a nightclub gunfight, a train yard, a trench-and-tank assault, a night-vision stealth section and a Far Cry-like open-world mission, which the author says is more grounded than recent entries.
