PS5 Closing in on 100 Million Sales as Gradual Drop-Off Continues

Sony sold another 2.6 million PS5 consoles in the second quarter of its 2026 fiscal year, bringing total sales to 97.9 million units. The figure is 1.4 million fewer than the 4 million sold in the same quarter last fiscal year, continuing a gradual decline. PS5 and PS4 game sales reached 88.2 million for the quarter, including 8.2 million first-party titles.
