Edifier G5 Max wireless gaming headset review

The Edifier G5 Max is a $150/$160 wireless gaming headset with a claimed 305-hour battery life that held up over several weeks of testing. Its default sound is boxy and the software EQ presets are blunt, so the 53 mm titanium-coated drivers need manual tuning. At 305 grams it is comfortable, but the plasticky ear cups, light clamping force, and below-par microphones fall short of its premium price.
