Players Who Registered Rare Japanese PC Game Invited to Secret Party Over 25 Years Later

Japanese tech firm QualityTime Consulting held a secret event in Tokyo celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 1999 PC game Cookie's Bustle, inviting players who had mailed in registration cards back in 1999. The party featured live musicians playing the game's tunes, exclusive swag, and someone dressed as Cookie, with attendees told not to take photos. The game was discontinued in 2001 and only escaped a DMCA patent troll this March; no rerelease, port, or sequel was mentioned.
