IGN Opinion: Modern Warfare 4 Rescues the Reboot Series by Replicating Modern Warfare 2

IGN's Matt Purslow argues that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has one of the series' best campaigns in years because it largely replicates the structure of 2009's Modern Warfare 2. The story swaps an invasion of America for North Korea's assault on South Korea and centers on conscripted South Korean soldier Park Hyun-Jun, with a mission called Following Orders echoing No Russian's interactive choices. The author says it understands that mission's player agency far better than Modern Warfare 3's Passenger.
