More Than Just Shooting: An Interview with the Turok: Origins Dev Team

The Turok: Origins development team spoke with GCORES after a TGS2026 demo about designing dinosaur enemies, the DNA system, dual-perspective combat, and the differences between solo and co-op play. Developed and published by Saber Interactive, the game lets players collect DNA to unlock abilities and upgrade their suit, and supports solo play plus co-op for up to three players. The team confirmed players can switch seamlessly between first- and third-person views, each with its own separate animation and control pipeline.
