Anime Russian Roulette Game Drunken Goddess Reflux Cancels Public Demo Over AI Copycat Fears

Alliance Arts has canceled the public demo for its anime Russian roulette game Drunken Goddess Reflux, fearing AI or other tools could quickly imitate its presentation and gameplay before launch. Instead, the studio will hand out demo keys and run closed online play sessions for a limited number of players through its Discord. It cited Needle in a Haystack, announced in August, as an example of Steam's copycat problem after similar games appeared online.
