Nexus Mods updates generative AI policy with mandatory disclosure but no full ban

Nexus Mods updated its generative AI policy to require mod authors to publicly explain how and where they used AI, while ruling out an outright ban on AI mods. Existing authors get a 60-day grace period, moderation is manual, and users can filter AI mods from the homepage via tags. Site owner Foledinho said the platform is pro-human creativity and acknowledged the community remains divided.
