Report: Gears of War: E-Day Developers Fear Layoffs and Lost Bonuses After Launch

Eurogamer reports that developers at The Coalition, the studio behind Gears of War: E-Day, fear layoffs once the game launches on October 6. Story director Juan Vaca left two weeks ago, and Kotaku reported on September 22 that fewer than a handful of staff were cut. Staff also worry they could miss a Metacritic-based bonus if they are let go before the payout expected near the end of October.
