The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign is playable to completion on Switch 2, and the author says it targets a locked 30fps with no noticeable drops, feeling like a full package in handheld and docked modes. This version was handled by Barcelona-based Digital Legends and offers Filmic SMAA 2TX and Nvidia DLSS upscaling options, which the author found hard to tell apart in play. The campaign spans 16 missions and took about eight hours, including an open-ended snowbound mission called Stranded; multiplayer and the DMZ extraction mode were not covered. The game launches on 23rd October, with pre-orders granting early access to the full campaign.
