Bandai Namco has remastered Tales of Eternia for PS5, 26 years after the original, with a rewritten localisation and new English voice acting. Combat remains a 2D real-time action system restricted to a single plane, which can make crowded battles hard to read. The remaster adds accessibility options such as EXP and Gald multipliers, encounter rate settings, and objective markers, without locking players out of Trophies.
