King workers to strike in Sweden after rejection of collective bargaining agreement

Swedish unions Unionen and Sveriges Ingenjörer have issued a strike notice against King after executives rejected a proposed collective bargaining agreement last month. Unionen filed the notice on September 15 and mediation is ongoing; if no agreement is reached, King employees will strike on September 25. Naturvetarna, DIK and Akademikerförbundet SSR have also announced plans to strike in solidarity.
