Motion blur vs film grain - which is worse?

PC Gamer's poll for the worst graphical effect in games has tallied around 4,000 votes from the first round, sending vignette, chromatic aberration, motion blur, and film grain into the semifinals. Only two of the four will reach the final, with voting open and results due in a couple of days. Examples include motion blur in Hunt: Showdown and film grain in Phasmophobia.
